Abstract:With the development of wireless technology, applying the wireless technology to industrial field is becoming appealing. However, wireless technology cannot replace traditional wired communications, at least in recent years. Therefore, mixed network integrating wired and wireless one is the research focus at present. The most devices that interconnect between wired and wireless network are for commercial use, and the device prototype applied to industrial field has not been seen in the literature. In this paper, a design prototype of industrial wireless gateway is proposed and its performance has been tested. In addition, an experiment method to improve the performance of the radio circuit is developed, and the validity and feasibility of the method are showed by the experiment results. ? 2011 ISSN 2185-2766.
