Abstract: Based on the reviews of the development of elevator group control technologies, the principle of work and the structural behavior of elevator group control system (EGCS) are discussed in detail. Analysis of some problems in the research of EGCS, including the adoption and implementation aftermath of the control algorithms and strategies, key technologies used in this fields and problems to be solved, are conducted considering the current application of EGCS. Some prospective control technologies for EGCS and developing trends of EGCS are suggested also.
