Abstract:The combination of biological hydrogen production and the swine manure wastewater treatment is of significance to developing new energy and integrating environmental pollution management and wastes comprehensive utilization. In this paper, hydrogen production quantity by photosynthetic bacteria from the swine manure wastewater was tested under different conditions and the neural network model established for description fermentation characteristics on the basis of experimental results. The genetic algorithm was employed to optimize fermentation conditions; we can find the best condition combination of hydrogen production for getting a maximum hydrogen production quantity. This work can offer the industrialized feasibility of hydrogen production by photosynthetic bacteria from the swine manure wastewater.
