Abstract:The methods commonly employed in maximum efficiency control of induction motor are sensitive to motor parameters, and have long convergence time. Therefore, based on fuzzy logic, this paper proposes a new maximum efficiency control strategy. Its initial value is choosen by the induction motor loss-model. The input number of fuzzy control can be adjusted automatically according to the input power deviation, so the searching speed is improved greatly and the stability of efficiency optimization is achieved. The problems of low-frequency pulsating torque and torque fast response are solved by using a feedforward compensation algorithm and a first order differentiator. The simulation and experiment results show the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.
