Abstract: In this paper, we researched the development history of national innovation studies from the scope of scientific measurement, and analyzed the distribution features of typical authors and their literatures by countries and institutions combining all publication on national innovation. We used mapping of science and information visualization to analyze dynamic network of national innovation by CiteSpace II. Based on this, we discussed knowledge structure and evolution of national innovation studies, and then detected emerging trends and transient patterns in this field. ? 2010 IEEE.
