摘要：In this paper, the performance of a floating breakwater with additional function as wave energy converter is assessed. A 2-D numerical wave flume based on finite element method and Volume of Fluid (VOF) method for incompressible viscous flow is established. In the simulation of wave-floating body interaction, the motion of the floating body as well as the wave elevations in front of and behind the body are recorded. The influences of the buoy's cross sectional size and the damping force applied on it to the wave transmission and wave power extraction efficiency are discussed.
