摘要:With the co-action of platform moving, wave and current collisions may happen between the adjacent risers of Top tension risers(TTR) of a tension leg platform (TTR),which will affect the load capacity of the platform. The behavior under severe sea conditions is studied. The bending before collision and subsequent dynamic collisions of a pair of risers are simulated in two analysis processes by ABAQUS. The collision area is determined by means of involved length equation. The effect of bending before collision to the result o{ collision is main interest of this study. The study suggested a method for analyzing the collision between rigid risers at deep waters.
