摘要:In order to improve the quality of mobile communication in IP network environment, solutions are proposed to optimize the handoff delay. The session initiation protocol (SIP) mobility was investigated and the IPv6-based handoff process of mobile node was analyzed. Optimization schemes are proposed, including IPv6 router detection, IPv6 duplicate address detection, IPv6 router selection, SIP session recovery and streaming media redirection processes. Finally, the feasibility of the issue was testified using simulation environment. The experimental results show that the schemes can effectively optimize the handoff delay and have better adaptability in the mobile communication.
