Abstract:Based on a brief overview of the inverse optimization problems of the general linear programming (LP), this paper considers a special form of the transportation problems: freight adjustment budget limitations. The authors have popularized one kind of the inverse transportation problems, which provides some quantitative analysis for management innovation activities during the transportation programming practice. This manuscript discusses its algorithms and concludes that as a special form of the inverse optimal value problem of the general LP, it can be solved by transferring into a linear or bilinear programming problem. In the end, an empirical example was presented to verifying the model's validity. © ASCE.
