Abstract:A physically-based space deformation model is presented by minimizing the energy of an object. It is a hybrid of elasticity-based and space deformation model. This method overcomes the geometric model's drawback of less-reality and the difficulty of obtaining deformation with constraints in physically-based models simultaneously. Due to the adjustable degree of freedom, its computational complexity is controllable.
