Abstract:The multicast/broadcast model is adopted in the communication for the digital interface of electronic transducer based on general Ethernet. There are some disadvantages of carrier collision, network overload, broadcast storm etc. From the analysis of the communication of electronic transducer and the VLAN technology, the presented work improved on the network building of the substations and the communication frame of the electronic transducers and designed a set of digital interface of electronic transducer based on VLAN technology. The real-time feature and reliability of the communication between the electronic transducers and the secondary devices is improved.
