Abstract:To implement GOOSE communication based on IEC61850, the mapping way and transmission control of GOOSE communication are analyzed firstly. Then a GOOSE communication system based on ARM is introduced. Furthermore, the hardware architecture and software design of the system are explained. During the experiment, protocol data unit of GOOSE is analyzed in detail, GOOSE repetition mechanism is verified, and time consumption of communication is measured. Through communication test, it is found that the system could meet the requirement of IEC61850 in real-time feature and reliability. In conclusion, the simple architecture and low cost of the system proposed make it useful in broad application in intelligent substation.
