摘要:Near-fault earthquake ground motions, which are characterized by large amplitude velocity pulse and have resulted in the significant damage of reinforced concrete (RC) structures located in near-fault zone, cause large strain rate effect to the structures. At the same time, the quasi-statically tests are normal used to study the seismic response of the RC structures. The large pulse type loading of near-fault earthquake motions can cause the structure to behave very differently than predicted in laboratory tests. For the aim of the influence of strain rate effect on the section moment-curvature relationship, the proposed calculation equation considered large strain rate effect is constructed by using of the strip method hi analyze the influence level for RC structures. And then, the important parameters such as the elastic modulus of concrete, compressive strength of concrete, yielding strength and ultimate strength reinforcing steel bar considered large strain rate effect are analyzed and used in predict the moment-curvature curve. The results show that the yielding strength and the ultimate strength of section became large, and the bending capacity of RC structure has a remarkable improvement. Finally, through comparing with existing experimental results, the theoretic calculated results are fit to existing testing data.
