Abstract: A hetero-nuclear complex Hexakis (mu(2)-pyridine-2-aldoximato-N, N',O)-iron (III) -di-nickel (II) nitrate solvate duodenaryhedrate ([FeNi(2)(PA)(6)]) has been prepared. The structure of the complex has been characterized by X-ray crystallography. The complex was observed to be active in photo-catalyzing oxidation of Rhodamine B (RhB) and Methyl Orange (MO) in an aqueous solution with hydrogen peroxide (H(2)O(2)). (C) 2010 Elsevier B.V.
