Abstract:Starting from synthesis of earthquake ground motion and considering site conditions and source parameters, the accelerograms of the bedrock at some specified points were synthesized using the stochastic finite faults method. Then, the strong ground motion coherence among these points was studied. The study results showed that the coherency function model of the bedrock is resonable through comparing the synthesis results; meanwhile, the accelerograms simulated using the stochastic finite faults method can be used as the multi-point input for high-rise structures, long-span bridge and other key engineering structural aseismic analyses.
