Abstract: A flow visualization experiment, realized by means of aluminum dust method, was carried out in a wavy-walled tube for pulsatile flow. A special Scotch-Yoke device and a light-driven camera were used to obtain the flow patterns at the special moment in one oscillatory period. Based on the experimental results and partial numerical results, the characteristics for pulsatile flow were suggested.
