Abstract:The effects of initial temperature, precursor dose, and molar ratio of precursor and hydrogen on TiO2 nanometer photocatalyst prepared through gaseous detonation were studied through orthogonal experiment and L(34) orthogonal array, and characterization was performed through X-ray diffraction and Transmission electron microscope. The particle size, morphology, and photocatalytic ability of the product are significantly influenced by preparation conditions. The photocatalytic ability of the product is highly affected by TiCl4 dose, followed by the initial temperature and molar ratio of the precursor and hydrogen. The product prepared at an initial temperature of 130(circle)C with 5 mL of TiCl4 and 1: 1 ratio of TiCl4: H-2 exhibits the highest photocatalytic activity and good crystallinity. The product is a mixed crystal of the anatase and rutile phases, with an anatase content of 29.38% and mean particle sizes of 36.93 (Anatase) and 43.95 nm (Rutile). The photocatalyst degradation rate of methyl orange solution reaches 95.82% after exposure to UV light for 40 min.
