Abstract: Direct instantaneous torque control (DITC) method of the switched reluctance motor (SRM) is studied in this paper. Modeling and simulations of the DITC system have been conducted with MATLAB/Simulink. The simulation results accurately reflect the actual operation states of SRM. It is verified that DITC method can effectively reduce the torque ripple of SRM.
