Abstract:Method of life cycle assessment (LCA) was applied to compare the environmental impacts of biological filter process and SBR process in two wastewater treatment plants which effluent quality reach to the same standard. Nine types of environmental impacts were constructed by using Gabi 5.0 software. After considered water reuse, the results indicate that marine aquatic toxicity potential (MAETP) of two plants contribute most which value is 3.69E-13 and 2.04E-13 respectively; Ozone depletion potential (ODP) can be negligible when compared with other impacts.
