Abstract: We measured the thermal sensitivity of SMF-28 fiber in the range -190 degrees C-25 degrees C and measured a > 3-fold decrease for uncoated fiber towards the lowest measured temperature and far higher sensitivities for coated and jacketed fibers. (c) 2019 The Author(s)
