摘要：Added mass and damping of horizontal and vertical plate type breakwater are systematically investigated by Green function method. The results show that: (1) Minus added mass occurs when plate is closely near to free surface. (2) The plate should be very thin for efficient convergence in numerical simulation. (3) The fixed method for effective plate type breakwater should be submerged beneath free surface.
