Abstract:A network layer protocol implementation scheme based on ZigBee and ARM technology is proposed. The ZigBee nodes are composed of LPC2136 and T?s new second- generation RF transceiver CC2520. The driver codes for LPC2136 and CC2520 are developed in TinyOS operating system,. The ZigBee protocol stack is developed by nesC language and supports both star and cluster-tree topology. According to the characteristics of the network address allocation a beacon scheduling mechanism is given. The network is self-organizing and self-healing and it supports multi-hop data communication. Finally, the network performance is tested through practical experiments. ? 2012 ICIC International.
