Abstract: By using the per-capita disposable income of urban residents, the freight turnover per ton of carbon emissions, the carbon emissions per ten thousands of passenger overturn and the ratio of output value of secondary and tertiary industry, this paper proposes a model of the carbon emissions by the transportation industry of Liaoning province. This paper utilizes the Shapley decomposition method, and then analyzes the influences of them on the carbon emissions by the transportation industry of Liaoning province in terms of the data of Liaoning province between 1997 and 2010. The conclusions are: the carbon emissions per ten thousands of passenger overturn has the most influence on carbon emissions by the transportation industry, and the ratio of output value of secondary and tertiary industry has the least. Therefore, this paper supposes that the ideologies like purchasing energy-efficient transport and using public transportation should be popularized, and improving the utilization of transport is also a crucial measure to reduce the carbon emissions by the transportation industry.
