Abstract: One pyridine ring was introduced into the basic structure of stilbene in place of one of the benzene rings for the purpose of evaluating the activity change.Started from methoxyl substituted chloromethylpyridine,five new polyhydroxy-azastilbene-2-nitrogen derivatives(4a~4e) with(E)-isomer were synthesized via(Arbusow) reaction,Wittig-Horner reaction and demethalytion in a yield of 30%~34% as the main products.Their structures were characterized by IR,MS and ~(1)H NMR.
