Abstract:This article proposes a position and attitude measurement method based on binocular vision for targets in complex wind tunnels. The position and attitude parameters of high-speed rolling targets in complex wind tunnels can be measured with the proposed method. Besides, we considered the influence of image distortion caused by the observation window. A photogrammetry model based on multi-layer refraction is established to improve the measurement accuracy in wind tunnels. Miniature self-luminous units are employed to serve as image features to help achieve high-speed image acquisition in dark wind tunnels. The position and attitude parameters of wind tunnel targets are then calculated according to the 3D coordinates of markers on the target surface. The proposed measurement system and method were applied in real wind tunnel measurements, and results satisfied the measurement demands. Besides, verification experiments were conducted in the laboratory, showing high measurement precision of the system.
