Abstract:The combined cable-stayed and self-anchored suspension bridge is a new long-span bridge, which combines the features of both suspension bridge and cable-stayed bridge, so the research on its dynamic behavior is very important. The space model of this system was built by ANSYS software and its dynamic result is calculated by the subspace iteration. Model test is used to research into dynamic behavior of this system and the results of the experiment are consistent with those of theoretical analysis. Based on the conclusions of the test, it is found that it is reliable to analyze the dynamic characteristics of this combined system and conduct wind-resistance and seismic-resistance by finite displacement theory.
