Abstract: Tongtai Bridge is a slanting cross-shaped arch bridge in China. This paper examines the aspects of the design and construction of the Tongtai Bridge. The aesthetic features of the bridge have made it an iconic structure. The construction processes used are identified and the static and stability analyses explored. The structural analysis of the bridge aims to demonstrate its suitability.
