Abstract: Novel bisazacoronene bisimides (bisaza CBIs) were efficiently synthesized via a new type of photocyclization involving a Schiff base. One of the bisaza CBIs self-assembles into nanobelts and shows reasonable electron mobility in a space-charge-limited current device.
