Abstract: Structure damage location based on Lamb waves mostly depend on the exact time of arrival ( TOA) or time difference of arrival ( TDOA) , in which time difference measurement has great effect on the location precision.Using a sensor network arrays and Hilbert trans-form signal processing technique, the beam forming algorithm was applied to active Lamb waves-based damage detection and location in this paper.Results verified by finite element simulation show that the proposed method can locate and show the damage position effectively.
