Abstract:This paper focuses on the nonlinear dynamic systems which have ill-conditioned stiffness matrix. Because some higher accurate methods are out of work in these problems, a method which can eliminate the ill-condition and singularity through a equivalence transformation is proposed. After changing the original dynamic system to general nonlinear system by Hamilton criterion, a satisfactory numerical solutions for a rotor system with multi degrees of freedom supports contained nonlinear fluid film bearings by segmented-direct-integration algorithm are obtained. Also, it can deal with general stiffness problems effectively.
