Abstract: Gender bias is a hot topic in Sociology of Science and Scientometrics.The past period studies focused on gender bias in scientific collaboration of authorship.Gender bias is a natural extension of the mirror relationship between science and technology.And the analysis of gender bias on the patent is helpful to understand the differences and relationships better between science and technology,and to promote the rational construction of technology R&D team.The gender of inventors in the US patent database was identified by integrating various methods,and the gender data set of inventors based on the US patent database was constructed.We used the inventor as the research object,who was named first on the patent.And we used Kruskal-Wallis method to analyze and test the gender bias of inventors on the patent.The result shows that gender homogeneity widely exists in the invention team.It attaches an important for guiding gender homogeneity to break the stereotyped of collaborative mode between male and female inventors,to improve the situation of women's underrepresentation in inventors,and to build a better collaborative innovation environment.
