Abstract:A dynamic triaxial experiment of sand-gravel composites are conducted by using a medium-scale triaxial apparatus and specimen size of φ200 mm×500 mm to study the effect of geo-grid reinforcement and the relationship between the residual deformation of the reinforced composites and the cyclic number. A modified Shenzhujiang model was adopted to fit the deformation data for the cases of reinforcement and no reinforcement. The results show that the residual volumetric and shear deformations are reduced by the reinforcement, and that the model parameters become smaller.
