Abstract: By use of the medium scale dynamic triaxial apparatus (specimen size φ200 mm × 510 mm), the laboratory tests on the sand-gravel after liquefaction were performed. The stress-strain responses and the main factors influencing the strength of liquefied sand-gravel were studied. It was shown that the strength of liquefied sand-gravel was mainly dependent on the confining pressure.
