Abstract:With the number of engineering projects becoming more and more large, all of these bring about the rising investment and prolongation of engineers project. Furthermore, gradually there are more potential possibilities for a project. As the comprehensive social activity in the economy, technique management and organizing aspects, the indetermination of the engineering project exists in everywhere. Therefore, construction is frequently obsessed by its risks, especially on the prophase. There are many difficulties on the comprehensive risk management of engineering projects due to inaccurate and insufficient data. Based on the actual research actuality and requirements of risk management, the development and application of data mining and data warehouse maybe solve these problems. The article not only proves it is necessary and feasibility to do comprehensive risk management of engineering projects based on data mining in theories and methods through setting forth the process of data mining and the pre-requisite qualifications of comprehensive risk management, but also supports the methods and thoughts of risk management for the engineering project managers.
