Abstract:In the complex assembly process, how to ensure the orderly feeding and the kitting control on time of materials and key components is a major problem of materials feeding management. In this paper, a model suited for complex assembly lines is proposed to fulfil the punctuality and kitting requirements of materials feeding. Based on the comprehensive consideration of time uncertainty in the feeding process, the fuzzy mathematics theory is used to describe the uncertainty of problem model, the particle swarm optimization and the rule scheduling algorithm are combined to solve the model, Finally, the rationality and feasibility on the punctuality and kitting of materials feeding are verified by an example.
