Abstract:According to the domestic and foreign development status, reviews on breath-based alcohol detecting technology and its applications to prevent drunk driving are given from breath alcohol testing standards, expiratory gas sample collection methods, influence the accuracy of alcohol detection factors, advantages and disadvantages and usage restrictions of various expiratory type alcohol testing technology, some practical application measures of prevent alcohol-impaired drivingdevice, et al. Finally, several suggestions on further development are given.
