Abstract:Based on the end face friction and wear experiments,the influence of friction conditions on the wear coefficient of polyether ether ketone (PEEK) was studied,and a modified Archard wear calculation model for PEEK was established. Combined withfinite element analysis software and adaptive grid technology,the wear calculation model was used in the wear simulation and prediction of PEEK under various frictional conditions,and the simulation results are in good agreement with the experimental results,indicating the rationality of the wear model and numerical simulation method proposed. This method is suitable for wear prediction of PEEK under complex contact conditions.
