摘要:We show that in systems with multiple current sheets, the reconnection rate can increase with increasing S. This is essentially different from the result in single current sheet systems where the reconnection rate usually decreases with increasing S or is independent of S. Such a resistive fast reconnection can be applied to account for the rapid events in multiple current systems of astrophysical, solar, and magnetic fusion plasmas.
