碳纤维增强复合材料加固局部混凝土薄弱柱抗震性能试验研究

Abstract:This paper mainly focused on the seismic behaviors of partially deteriorated reinforced concrete (RC) columns retrofitted with carbon fiber reinforced polymers (CFRP). Firstly, the seismic behavior of partially deteriorated RC columns and the corresponding CFRP retrofitted columns were examined by experiment. Then the finite element analysis (FEA) of seismic behavior of specimens were carried out with software ABAQUS. The calculated results were compared with and verified by the experimental data. The influences of deteriorated concrete location, the strength of deteriorated concrete and the thickness of CFRP on the retrofitting effects were then analyzed. Meanwhile, a new concept named critical deteriorated height of partially deteriorated columns, used to determine the failure location of partially deteriorated columns, was developed. Finally, to determine the thickness of retrofitted CFRP on partially deteriorated RC column in design, a method was proposed. It is concluded that the partially deteriorated concrete may weaken the seismic behaviors of RC columns. The influences of partially deteriorated concrete on the seismic behavior are related to the location of deteriorated segment, strength of deteriorated concrete and axial load ratio. The CFRP retrofitting can recover the seismic behavior of partially deteriorated columns when the strength of intact concrete lowers then the equivalent target strength of concrete.
