Abstract:The ethical responsibility of government official is the moral basis for effective exercise of power and service for the public. General sense, the ethical responsibility of government official is a kind of social responsibility. The government official is special profession, representative citizens to exercise their rights, and therefore, the public has higher ethical responsibility requirements of the government official. The government official whether it has the ethical responsibility, relates directly to the government image and credibility, administration and the public on the duty of the government to evaluation. The cultivation of the ethical responsibility to government official is a development process from the general ethical responsibility to special ethical responsibility, improves the ethical responsibility of government official is an important research subject.
