Abstract: In this paper, an improved scheme is proposed to solve the L-2-gain analysis problem of systems with interval time-varying delay. In order to reduce the conservativeness, the considered delay system is modeled as a switched system. Then, the piecewise Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (PLKF) method, which is more effective than the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF) method, is adopted to obtain the L-2-gain criterion. Finally, numerical examples are given to suggest the effectiveness of the proposed method. (C) 2017 The Franklin Institute. Published by Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
