摘要:In order to improve the accuracy and stability of conventional position estimation with interior permanent magnet synchronous motors (IPMSMs), this paper develops a super-twisting sliding mode observer (ST-SMO)-based speed-sensorless control strategy, in which the voltage source inverter (VSI) nonlinearity is taken into account. The proposed ST-SMO works by estimating the stator currents of the motor and obtaining the position using a phase locked loop. Moreover, since the mismatch between the reference and the actual voltages caused by VSI non-linearity may result in not only estimation errors but also system instability, especially in the low speed range, the voltage distortion resulted from the deadtime nonlinearity in the VSI is compensated using the high frequency harmonic component extraction method to further improve the accuracy of the ST-SMO and maximum torque per ampere operation of the IPMSM. Extensive simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
