Abstract:This paper presents a numerical scheme for solving one-dimensional Burgers' equation, which uses the derivative of a two-level multiquadric quasi-interpolant and the first forward divided difference to approximate the spatial derivative and the temporal derivative, respectively. The numerical results show that this scheme could deal with a wide range of Reynolds number. Moreover, the scheme is simple and easy to implement. ? 2010 Binary Information Press.
