摘要：Rapid development of Chinese market of natural gas is described in this paper. The market will increase rapidly during the "Twelfth Five-Year" period. With the fast growth of demand on natural gas, a number of problems come out, such as LNG feeder transportation, LNG peak shaving, and LNG transportation to pipe network blind areas. With respect to these problems, a development strategy of LNG transportation with small LNG carrier in middle and lower reaches of Yangtze River is proposed. Also, an appropriate type of small LNG carrier is demonstrated. After analyzing the current constraints of laws and regulations on the development of LNG transportation with small LNG carrier in middle and lower reaches of Yangtze River, corresponding countermeasures are given.
