直流真空电弧形态演变的动态影响因素研究

Abstract:In this paper, a hybrid high speed actuator is designed, and the method
   of forced current zero is used to interrupt DC current in synthetic test
   circuit. Under different frequencies of commutation current, different
   arcing time and different pre-charged voltages, the process of arc
   burning and arc appearance is observed by a high speed CMOS camera.
   Analysis is conducted according to the arc area obtained by the image
   processing technology. Experimental results show that interrupting the
   DC current with low frequency commutation current benefits for the
   recovery of dielectric strength. Different pre-charged voltages have
   nearly no influence on the arc appearance. The more metal vapor will be
   produced when the arcing time is longer, which is disadvantageous for
   the interruption.
