摘要:Anchors are the key members of the geotechnical anchorage systems and their strain and damage states are very important or even determined for the safeties of the geotechnical anchorage engineering, therefore it is urgent to monitor and further evaluate the strain states and damage characteristics of the anchors in services to prevent potential risks. Accordingly, this paper proposed a novel type of smart fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) anchor with embedded both the full-scale distributed Brillouin optical time domain analysis/reflectometer (BOTDA/R) and fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensors and the self-sensing property of this anchor was investigated in pullout testing under the sand anchorage environments. The axial strains along the anchors under perfect or imperfect anchorage environments were recorded by both embedded BOTDA/R and FBG sensors compared with the attached traditional strain gauges (ES) and then the axial strain transmission and damage characteristics were studied. The results indicated that both the embedded BOTDA/R and FBG sensors measured the axial strains and further real the damage characteristics of the anchors effectively, thus this anchor is suitable to be applied in structural health monitoring for geotechnical anchorage engineering.
