Abstract:This paper analyzes the relationship between China's foreign trade and carbon emissions. First, we start from the low-carbon economy qualitative analysis of the patterns of international trade. On this basis, in order to further confirm the relationship, this paper use ACT model for reference to measure the relationship between carbon emissions and export trade of China, set per capita income, export trade, population, and urbanization as explanation variables, use China's 30 provinces 2003-2011 panel data for empirical analysis. Finally we got a positive correlation between carbon emissions and export trade of China, and on this basis verified the application of Environmental Kuznets Curve in China. Considering the differences between regions, the paper made a regression analysis for China' eastern, western and central region, and analyzed the relationship between carbon emissions and its influence factors in different regions. The result showed that the eastern and western regions had a positive correlation between the amount of carbon emission and export trade, while the central region had a negative correlation.
