Abstract:By variational method, we obtain various existence and multiplicity results for the following double phase problem
   {-div(vertical bar del u vertical bar(p-2)del u + a(x) vertical bar u vertical bar(q-2)del u) = f(x,u) in Omega,
   u=0 on partial derivative Omega.
   In particular, we find a sign-changing ground state solution. Some properties of double phase operator are also obtained. (C) 2018 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
