Abstract: In this paper, we establish a unilateral global bifurcation result from intervals for a class of semi-linear problems on the unit ball. By applying the above result, we obtain the spectrum of a class of half-linear problems on the unit ball. Our results partially give a positive answer to the open problem proposed by Berestycki.
