Abstract:Based on Qian Xuesen's three hierarchies of science and technology system which is "Basic Science-Technology Science-Engineering Science",the engineering science journal papers in Web of Science from 2003 to 2013 were chosen as data source.The citation analysis method of scientometrics was used to analyze the internal structure and external relations of contemporary engineering science.The interact and synergy between internal and external engineering disciphnes would be found.The results will provide a scientific basis and data support for the development of engineering science.
